“The end is where we start from.” - T.S. Eliot
Eliot’s words encourage us to contemplate:
How well do we understand where we are headed?
In life and leadership, both marked by intentional and unexpected changes, it’s important that we remain vigilant and forward-thinking. This constant disruption became the catalyst for my Modern Leadership Framework. It must first begin with intentional Goal Setting—identifying your Top Priority and understanding its significance. Then you dive deeper:
Anticipate Change: We operate within a constantly evolving system. Consider the potential disruptions or challenges that could impede your success. How will you prepare to lead through these changes?
Acknowledge Your Leadership: Whether guiding yourself, a client, or a team, your role as a leader is continuously evolving. Reflect on how you can enhance your leadership today.
Assess Your Priorities: Identify your key goals for the week. What are the crucial achievements that will define your success? Also, consider what you might need to let go of—what no longer serves you?
Accept New Approaches: Embrace flexibility. Innovate and adapt your strategies to navigate through this week’s obstacles.
Take Action: Strategy without action is merely a plan. Define actionable steps that will move you towards your objectives each day. What’s one thing you can do right now to build momentum?
As Eliot suggests, our ends indeed shape our beginnings. This week, redefine your goals to enhance the clarity and purpose of your actions – aligned with the end in mind.
Have an inspired week!
